The valve (1) has a blocking element (2) placed at a valve seat (3). A sealing element (4) is elastically movable relative to the seat and/or the blocking element, where the sealing element is arranged at a part of a circumference of the seat and/or the blocking element. The sealing element is deflectable against the blocking element and/or the seat by pressure applied at the valve. The blocking element is rotatable relative to the seat by a rotary bearing, which is arranged outside of a chamber (8) that is designed as a combustion chamber. The blocking element is driven by an electric motor.
