PURPOSE: A secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to use a separator including an inorganic layer for improving the thermal and electrical reliability, and the wetting property of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a secondary battery comprises the following steps: forming an electrolyte containing a modifier including a functional group reacting to an OH group, electrolytic salt, and a solvent; forming slurry containing an inorganic particle, the solvent, and a resin; and forming an inorganic material layer on one side of an organic layer using the slurry. The organic layer is formed with one element selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, a polyethylene/polypropylene bilayer, and others. |
