PURPOSE: Route searching device and method are intended to provide a customized road guide service optimized by a user by considering the sex, age, taste of the user. CONSTITUTION: A route searching method is as follows. The road information and the electronic map are constructed in a database(S10). A route creation part searches available routes after receiving the departure and destination information from a service user(S20). At least one candidate route is searched by reflecting emotional information including at least one of risk, comfort and preference on the available route searched by the route creation part(S40). The surplus route is searched at least one by referring the sensitivity information which including at least one among the degree of danger, comfort, and preference on the movable rout detected by the route creation part. The candidate route is searched by calculating risk based on the travel time information from the departure to the destination and the attribute information of the link in the available route.
