<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container having a decorative plate for which the fitting of the decorative plate to a plate fitting section is easy when the decorative plate is provided in the plate fitting section of a cap by tilting the decorative plate to the bottom surface of the container body, and at the same time, of which the appearance is good as well. <P>SOLUTION: This container having the decorative plate is equipped with the container body and the cap 3 by which the mouth section is covered, and the circular decorative plate 5 is fitted in the plate fitting section 4 which is provided on the top surface of the cap 3. The plate fitting section 4 is equipped with an annular standing section 42 which is arranged to be close to the peripheral edge end 51 of the decorative plate 5 under a fitted state of the decorative plate 5. The upper end section 42B of the annular standing section 42 is tilted to the bottom surface of the container body under a state in which the mouth section of the container body is fitted with the cap 3.
