PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the user of a pressurizing type hemodynamometer to appropriately set the final discrimination level used for deciding its maximum blood pressure for preventing an excessive tightening force from the cuff of the hemodynamometer. SOLUTION: This pressurizing type hemodynamometer decides the maximum blood pressure of a subject in such a way that the cuff 1 wound around the wrist of the subject is pressurized by means of a pressuring means 3 under the control of a microcomputer 8 to throttle the artery of the subject and a cuff pressure detecting means 5 detects the pressure of the cuff 1 including a sphygmographic component and converts the pressure into electric signals. The microcomputer 8 fetches the electric signals and calculates the maximum blood pressure from the data about the fluctuating pressure of the cuff 1. The hemodynamometer is provided with a final discrimination level control means 86c which variably sets the pressure of the cuff 1 at measurement ending time in the maximum blood pressure computing means 86 of the microcomputer 8. The hemodynamometer fetches the data about the state (sphygmographic level, pulse rate, etc.), of the artery of the subject and sets an appropriate final discrimination level correspondingly to the data.
|
