BOX CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR GAS INSULATED TRANSMISSION LINE

PURPOSE: A box connection structure for gas insulated transmission line is provided to prevent the welding residue from flowing in during the welding process by installing an inflow blocking member between the boxes. CONSTITUTION: A connection member is formed between boxes(12a, 12b) of cylinder shape for accepting the conductors(14a, 14b). An inflow blocking member(30) of cylinder shape is inserted into a boundary section(S) forming a side boundary part(18) along a connection direction of the boxes. An outer surface of the inflow blocking member is pressed against an inner surface of the box closely. The inflow blocking member blocks the welding residue flowing in through the gap of the side boundary part.
