PURPOSE: A spiral type coin classifying device is provided to prevent the overlapping phenomenon of two or more coins in order to reduce damage due to abrasion by transferring coins along the upper side of a rotating lead-screw. CONSTITUTION: A coin classifying unit(40) includes a lead screw(41), a guide cover(42), and a driving motor. The lead screw is arranged on the lower side of a supporting frame plate(50) to be rotatable in order to transfer identified coins. The guide cover is fixed to the support frame pate in order to prevent the escape of classified coins, which is classified through a plurality of classifying holes(51), from a path. The driving motor drives the lead screw.
