PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of securing a large effective display area. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel 100 is provided with a plurality of bus electrode pairs 320 extending in the row direction on the inside surface side of a front substrate 300, arranged in parallel with one another and each comprising a scanning electrode 321 and a common electrode 322. Connection electrodes 330 formed in parallel with one another along the column direction are connected to left side ends in the row direction of the common electrodes 322. Upper ends in the column direction of the connection electrodes 330 are connected to a common electrode extraction part 260 formed nearly in parallel with the connection electrodes 330 on a back substrate 200. Thereby, since the left side ends of the plurality of common electrodes 322 can be extended to the vicinity of the left side end in the row direction of the front substrate 300, a discharge space 101 can be expanded to the vicinity of the left side end in the row direction of the front substrate 300.
