There is provided an occupant protective apparatus for a vehicle, which includes a bracket (3) comprised of a holding part (3b) that holds an airbag (1) on a pillar panel and a mounting part (3a) that is mounted on the pillar panel (10b), wherein the mounting part is located below the lower end of a side roof panel (12). With this arrangement, it is possible to inflate the airbag in a reliable manner while preventing the pillar trim (14) and the airbag from interfering with each other.
