Electronic apparatus (101) for mounting into a rack (102), in which the electronic apparatus comprises a box having a left side wall (202) and a right side wall (203) formed from extruded metal defining a groove (222). The groove extends along an outside surface of each of said left and right side walls for receiving a correspondingly shaped rail (223) that is horizontally mounted within a rack. See also figure 5 showing the T shaped rail 223 with lip portions 523 mating with extending lip potions 522 of the corresponding C shaped groove.
