PURPOSE: A rain sensor is provided to prevent errors which occur when rain is sensed by directly sending sunlight and light to a light receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: A rain sensor comprises a light emitting unit(100), a light receiving unit(200), a light guide(300), and a blocking wall(1). The light emitting unit is installed in the front surface of a vehicle window and emits light toward the window. The light receiving unit receives the light reflected from the window. The light guide is installed in the front of the light emitting unit and refracts the light. The blocking wall is installed to cover the light receiving unit. A reflective plate(2) is installed in the inner wall of the blocking wall. |
