PURPOSE: A strut supporting structure is provided to improve the strength and the durability by making two paths for transferring load through the upper end of a strut. CONSTITUTION: A strut supporting structure comprises a piston rod(210), a spring(220), a bumper stopper cup(230), a lower bracket(240), and insulator assembly. The piston rod is formed on a car body(C) as a suspension unit. The spring is arranged so that the upper and lower ends of the spring are supported toward the outside of the piston rod. One side of the bumper stopper cup is opened in order to insert the bump stopper into the upper circumference of the piston rod. The lower bracket includes a penetration hole which is formed to be corresponded to the punched part of the bumper stopper cup. The upper end of the piston rod passes through and extends to the upper side of the lower bracket. The end of the piston rod passing through and extending to the upper side of the lower bracket is fixed to the insulator assembly. |
