The device (100) has a sleeve (110) forming a joint and including a split membrane closure (120) covering tubular outlet nozzles (220) i.e. connection rods, of a brake fluid reservoir (200) fixed in a housing (310) of a master brake cylinder (300). The closure forms a valve that is closed at rest position and opened toward the reservoir. The closure has a projecting finger (122) that is supported against the cylinder for opening the closure by assembling the reservoir with the cylinder. The closure is returned to closed position when contact of the cylinder and the finger disappears. An independent claim is also included for a master brake cylinder comprising a brake fluid reservoir.
