PURPOSE: A press machine for pipe joint is provided to enhance joint between pipes by applying uniform pressure to the rear side of the joint. CONSTITUTION: A press machine for pipe joint comprises a tool body(30), a pair of clampers(10), an arch-shaped support(22), inserts(20), a gap maintaining spring(25), a secondary compression spring(27), a hydraulic cylinder(34), and a pair of rollers(36). The center of the clampers is hinge-coupled on the front of the tool body. The arch-shaped support is attached to the bottom surface of coupling recesses of the clampers. Horizontal spring insertion grooves(24) are formed in the inner opposite surfaces of the inserts. The gap maintaining spring is inserted in the horizontal spring insertion groove of each insert and controls the opening degree of the adjacent inserts. The secondary compression spring elastically supports the outer surface of the inserts and the inner surface of the arch-shaped support.
