The invention relates to the equipment for sugar industry, namely, to a filter used to filter the juice of first and second saturation, syrup and raw sugar liquor. The filter contains counterflow filter candle elements, each of which has a supportive framework, main filter part of metal with a rhomb-shaped cross section and a connecting part for connection with the main pipeline for removal of filtrate, which is a continuation of the filter part, fixed filter material in the form of a filter bag made of filter cloth. The main filter part of each counterflow candle filter element is simultaneously a supporting framework and is made as a stamped metal frame of two metal plates having an angular profile of bending; a rhomb-shaped cross section of the metal frame is a section of formed internal channel for circulation of filtered liquid. The lower part of the metal stamped frame of counterflow candle filter element is made as a four-sided prism with an apex directed downward and the upper part of the stamped metal frame of counterflow candle filter element is narrowed and to it by a flange a part is attached which is connected to the main pipeline and made in the form of a nozzle, the lower conical part of which passes into its upper cylindrical part, to which the filter cloth is attached. On the stamped metal frame of counterflow candle filter element grooves are made, in which by winding a wire is secured, which forms a wire sieve. The counterflow candle filter elements are connected by a modular collecting piping into individual collector modules forming a common package of collecting modules of the counterflow candle filter elements located in a housing. The housing has a main cylindrical part, a bottom conical part and an elliptical cover fastened in the cylindrical part. Each counterflow filter candle element is tilted to the axis of the collecting pipe at an angle of 30 to 60 degrees in one half of the main cylindrical part of the filter housing, and at an angle of 120 to 150 degrees - in the second half of the cylindrical part of the housing. The invention provides simplified manufacturing, decrease of its metal content and increase of filtration efficiency. |
