FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing composite materials, particularly to production of reinforcement fibre from oxide ceramics. Bundles consist of virtually continuous fibre made from oxide ceramics having an outer surface. At least part of said surface is covered with gluing material which contains a substance of formula R'O-(RO)n-H, where R' is selected from CxH2x+1, where x equals 1-8, or -H; R is selected from a group consisting of -(CyH2y)-, where y equals 1-4, and -CH2-O-(CH2)m, where m=2-5; and n is selected such that average molecular weight lies between 500 g/mol and 7000000 g/mol. ^ EFFECT: obtained bundles have high strength and are suitable, for instance for making ropes with a metal matrix. ^ 8 cl, 12 ex |
