METHOD FOR CRYPTOGRAPHIC PROTECTION OF PAYMENT CARD DATA

摘要

A method for cryptographic protection of payment cards comprises procedure of forming input data, coding and additional processing results of coding. Number of a payment card is entered to a reader unit of a payment terminal. Coordination of all terminal parts functioning and information protection are provided. Code keys are saved. Communications of the payment terminal with the card transaction processing centre are performed through telecommunication network. Protected card data is temporary returned to original form; after all required checks have been performed data is saved in protected form in data base of the centre. Output data has the same format and length as input data.
