POWER CONTROL OF POINT TO MULTIPOINT PHYSICAL CHANNELS

PURPOSE: A device for controlling a power of point to multipoint(PtM) physical channel is provided to perform adaptive power control for PtM. CONSTITUTION: A processor controls a transmission power level of down link(DL) channel related to wireless transmit/receive unit(WTRU). The processor set a transmission power level about a group of the WTRU. The transmission power level about a PtM channel is same as a transmission power level required from the WTRU of the group. A PtM transmitter(48) generates PtM channel having the transmission power level. An amplifier controls the transmission power level of the PtM channel.
