FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for producing hydrogen and oxygen directly from water and can be used in various branches of national economy. Invention consists in that electrolyser comprises housing made from dielectric material, work fluid feed union, gaseous product discharge union and set of electrodes arranged to reciprocate relative to each other and furnished with reciprocation drive. Note here that extreme electrodes are connected to unlike poles of DC source and pulsed current generator output.
