METHOD FOR ASSESSING SEVERITY OF LESIONS IN JOINTS OF HAND

A method for assessing the severity of lesions in the joints of the hand comprises the assessment of the alterations in the articular capsule and paraartyicular tissues based on the state of the dorsal triangle, the length of the dorsal metacarpal synovial sac, the height of the dorsal metacarpal synovial sac at the level of the tuber of head of metacarpal bone, and the height of the dorsal triangle. The sonographic examination in the articular area is also performed with comparison between the digital data for the normal sonographic patterns and pathological ones. These values are indicative of assessing the severity of lesions in the joints.
