FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: vodka base is obtained by mixing ethanol and water. The obtained mixture is purified using activated carbon and then blended with sugar syrup. The vodka base is flavoured by bringing it into contact with cedarwood for 0.5-4 hours. Contact takes place by holding the vodka base in a cedarwood barrel or in a container with cedarwood barrel staves or chips. The vodka has average grade of 9.82. ^ EFFECT: invention improves quality and organoleptic characteristics of the vodka, gives it a rich resinous aroma, a mild flavour with a light smoke-like after taste and simplifies the process. ^ 2 cl, 3 ex |
