FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing polymer material, to the polymer material and its use in making moulded chemically or biologically resistant materials or articles, preferably integral articles, as well as a method of moulding such materials or articles and materials and articles made using the said method. The polymer material is obtained by mixing through extrusion a first component and a second component in partial or complete absence of water. The first component is one or more hydrophilic polymers selected from a group comprising polyvinyl alcohols, ethylene vinyl alcohols, polyhydroxyethylmethacrylates, ethylene polyoxides, alkoxyamide block-polymers, air-permeable thermoplastic elastomers and polyurethanes.
