PURPOSE: A message service management system and a method for a prepaid subscriber are provided to deduct one message about a prepaid subscriber regardless of the kind of message thereby simplifying the deduction process. CONSTITUTION: A message service center(50) transmits a message requested from a mobile terminal of a prepaid subscriber. The message service center generates the first charging request signal including subscriber identification information corresponding to the mobile terminal. A charging server(70) receives the first charging request signal. The charging server generates a service code and the second charging request signal including the subscriber identification information. A service control server(60) receives the second charging request signal. The service control server deducts remained message amount corresponding to the subscriber identification information.
