PURPOSE: A device for folding packing paper of a coil is provided to reduce production costs and to improve productivity by reducing time required for a folding process. CONSTITUTION: A device for folding packing paper of a coil comprises a coil support, a first grip unit(410), a first grip conveyor(420), a second grip unit(510), and a second grip conveyor(520). The coil support rotates a coil so that packing paper is wound around the coil. The first grip unit grips the wound packing paper. The first grip conveyor moves the first grip unit forward and backward. A second grip unit grips the rear part of the advanced packing paper. The second grip conveyor advances the second grip unit which grips the packing paper.
