A CODE CONVERSION METHOD AND SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A code conversion method and a system thereof are provided to process KKR code data in an existing ALE (Application Level Events) middleware, thereby building RFID network without using an EPC code of a relatively high cost. CONSTITUTION: A first reader unit(110) reads information of a first tag unit(100). A second reader unit(130) reads out information of a second tag unit(120). A code conversion module unit(140) receives EPC(Electronic Product Code) code data of the first reader unit and ISO(International Standardization Organization)/IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) code data of the second reader unit. The code conversion module unit performs code conversion of the received data. A middleware unit(150) changes the converted code data into URN(Uniform Resource Name).
