PURPOSE: An image acquiring apparatus for obtaining depth information between a camera and a photographing object by analyzing the distorted image data is provided to acquire the image data by removing distortion of the image data based on a form of a filter. CONSTITUTION: A mode decision unit(110) determines a first mode and a second mode. A photographed target is photographed through a filter. The photographed target is not photographed in the second mode without using the filter. The filter includes a first area for penetrating the light and a second area for blocking the light. A photographing unit(120) takes a photograph of the photographing object by the selective use of the filter. An image processor(130) processes the photographed image data.
