The sling (1) has an adjustable length leash (6) comprising an end adapted to a barrel side end of a gun (2), and another end adapted to a gun stock for carrying the gun in the shoulder. The former end of leash carries a leather cap (8) for receiving the ends of barrels (3, 4). The leash carries a barrel locking loop in a position, in which the cap is threaded on the ends of the barrels. The barrel locking loop has a band arranged transversal to the leash.
