The device has a sleeve (10) defining a longitudinal axis (11), where the sleeve is constituted by wires (20) wound according to two helices (21, 22) in opposite directions. The wires of one of the helices are intertwined with the wires of the other helix to form the sleeve, where the wires have non-negligible elasticity and rigidity. Reducing units allow reduction of length of the sleeve along the longitudinal axis, under an action of traction force applied on a link of the reducing units. The wires are made of biodegradable material e.g. poly-L-lactide acid.
