PURPOSE: An interference fringe signal filtering apparatus for improving image extraction performance and an operating method thereof are provided to uniformly compare noise lever change according to the property of the optical system composition. CONSTITUTION: An interference fringe signal filtering apparatus for improving image extraction performance comprises a weighting value database(101), a weight calculating part(102), a combiner(103), a correction part(104) and a filtering value calculation part(105). The weighting value database stores a weighted value scanned of the pixels based on the target pixel for a fixed time. The weight calculating part respectively copes with the scanned pixels. The following weighting value is multiplied on the scanned pixels and calculates weighted value pixel values.
