PURPOSE: A packing device is provided to reduce the volume of a material by packing a material, to be packaged, in a roll form, using a folding rod and a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A packing device comprises a main body(100), a cylinder(200), a rotation fold part(300), a hand plate(400), and a drive motor. The cylinder is installed in the main body. A feed hopper, in which the packaged material is inserted, is formed on the side of the cylinder. The rotation fold part comprises a pair of contacting rods which are inserted into the cylinder. The hand plate moves to the longitudinal direction of the cylinder and has a through hole corresponding to the contacting rod. The drive motor transfers the driving force to the rotation fold part. The rotation fold part comprises a hollow rotary shaft receiving the torque of the drive motor. The hand plate comprises a horizontal moving axis inserted into the rotary shaft.
