PURPOSE: A driving limitation speed management system of a road and a method thereof are provided to secure the safe driving of a road by intellectually adjusting the driving limitation speed of a road. CONSTITUTION: A driving limitation speed management system is based on a ubiquitous sensor network. At least one sensor node measures a neighboring distance of visible. The sensor node transmits a discrete suitable speed to the driving limitation speed generating part. The discrete suitable speed is obtained according to the distance of visible. The driving limitation speed generating part generates a driving limitation speed based on the discrete suitable speed(S207). A notifying part notifies the driving limitation speed to a driver.
