<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the displacement of sheets due to impact when a sheet accommodating unit is attached to the apparatus body, in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An abutting part 62B abutting on a frame C2b on the rear side of the apparatus body to limit the insertion position of the sheet accommodating unit is arranged on the deep side of the sheet accommodating unit 100 with respect to the insertion direction of the sheet accommodating unit 100 and upstream of a position G of the center of gravity of the sheet accommodating unit 100 in a sheet feeding direction. The turning of sheets due to impact when the sheet accommodating unit 100 is attached to the apparatus body is suppressed by a front end restricting part 17 fixedly attached to the housing 100a of the sheet accommodating unit 100.
