PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly which is strong against the movement or the like of a cable. SOLUTION: The connector assembly 100 is provided with a receptacle connector 300 mounted to a substrate and a plug connector 200 which can be insertion-engaged or pulled out of the receptacle connector 300 on a surface (XY plane) parallel to the substrate. The receptacle connector 300 is provided with a metallic guide 330 to guide the insertion engagement and pull-out of the plug connector 200 and a fixed part 338 fixed to the substrate. The fixed part 338 is formed so as to be integrated with the guide 330. On the other hand, the plug connector 200 is provided with a guided 230 which is guided by the guide 330. Since the guided 230 is supported by the guide 330 fixed to the substrate through the fixed part 338, the insertion engagement state of the plug connector 200 and the receptacle connector 300 is maintained even if the cable 400 connected to the plug connector 200 is moved or pushed.
