PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence of chattering to measurement of a pulse period. SOLUTION: A pulse period shown by a rising interval of an object pulse appearing in a pulse signal PI is measured. The pulse signal PI is sampled synchronously with a measuring clock CLK. Clocking of a prescribed suppression period is started synchronously with fall of the signal PI. When the signal PI rises, if the suppression period has passed, measurement of the present pulse period is completed, and measurement of a new pulse period is started. If the suppression period is not passed yet, measurement of the present pulse period is continued. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
