PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder display using optical scanning, having simple structure and excellent visibility with no trouble in safety. SOLUTION: In an optical finder 20 of a digital camera 10, a cold filter 30, a mat plate 40 and a scanner mechanism 50 including a micromirror 56 are disposed. Far infrared light emitted from a laser light source 60 is reflected by the micromirror 56 and guided to the cold filter 30, then, the cold filter 30 reflects the light from the micromirror 56 and guides the light to the mat plate 40, and the mat plate 40 coated with a fluorescent body 42 is irradiated with the far infrared light so as to generate fluorescence. The cold filter 30 transmits the fluorescence, and the light of the object image and the fluorescence of the display pattern are made to overlap each other in a pentaprism 26.
