PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving ease of operation for finding out a transmission destination. SOLUTION: The multi-function device 1 (image forming apparatus) includes an operation display 41 having a touch panel function. An address book screen for specifying a transmission destination is displayed on screen of the operation display 41. On the address book screen, a plurality of first narrowing down keys 141 are formed for narrowing down a transmission destination information. If one of the plurality of first narrowing down keys 141 is operated, a plurality of second narrowing down keys 210 are displayed by dialog box 200 for narrowing down a transmission destination (transmission destination information) further. Then, when one of the plurality of second narrowing down keys 210 is operated, a transmission destination (destination information) is narrowed down and displayed on the address book screen, according to a character written on the operated second narrowing down key 210.
