<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage medium to/from which digital video information can be recorded and reproduced, and an information reproducing method, an information recording method, and an information reproducing device using the medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the information storage medium, an AV (Audio Video) file, cell time information, PGC (Program Chain) information are recorded in respective different areas. The cell time information includes a time code table related to a video object. Overlapping reproduction of the same part in the video object is performed between different cells in different PGC. The unit of address managed in control information to which the cell time information and the PGC information belong is different from the unit of AV address defined in the AV file. Information about the sampling frequency of an audio signal is included in the cell time information, and the information about the sampling frequency is included in an area different from the area for information about the number of specific units.
