PURPOSE: A device for surface treatment of a wire rod is provided to form an amorphous layer on the surface of a wire rod with a spray method and collect unused coating liquid to be reused. CONSTITUTION: A device for surface treatment of a wire rod comprises a feed hopper(100), a spray header(200), and a collecting hopper(300). A coating liquid is charged in the feed hopper. The spray header comprises a feeding unit for delivering the coating liquid from the feed hopper to a wire rod being transferred. The spray header comprises a plurality of spray nozzles. The collecting hopper is arranged under the spray header and returns collected coating liquid to the feed hopper.
