摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery, superior in quality stability capable of avoiding a phenomenon in which an negative electrode active material layer is peeled off, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The negative electrode 100 for the lithium secondary battery is structured such that the negative electrode active material layer 30 including a negative electrode active material is retained by a negative electrode collector 10. The negative electrode collector 10 includes a metal base material 20, and a boron carbide film 40 formed on a surface 22 of the base material.
