摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having high heat resistance, hardly causing a shift of dye to a heat-resistant slipping layer and re-transition of the shifted dye, excelling in the pot life of a coating liquid for the heat-resistant slipping layer for manufacturing the heat-resistant slipping layer, and easily and stably manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet has a thermal transfer coloring material layer on one face of a base material film, and the heat-resistant slipping layer formed on the other face. The heat-resistant slipping layer contains heat-resistant slipping layer resin containing aliphatic polycyclic (meth)acrylate as a monomeric unit, wherein a copolymerization ratio of the aliphatic polycyclic (meth)acrylate is 45-95% at a mass ratio. The heat-resistant slipping layer resin has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 115-150&deg;C at a value obtained by converting absolute temperature (K) computed by expression (1): 1/Tg=&Sigma;(w<SB>i</SB>/Tg<SB>i</SB>) into centigrade (&deg;C), and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 50,000-500,000. In expression (1), w<SB>i</SB>represents a mass fraction of a monomer (i) composing the heat-resistant slipping layer resin, Tg<SB>i</SB>represents a glass transition temperature of a homopolymer of the monomer composing the heat-resistant slipping layer resin, and both Tg and Tg<SB>i</SB>are absolute temperature (K). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
