<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing apparatus that fully minimizes the degradation of image quality caused by emission of light from an amplifier provided in a solid state image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The image capturing apparatus 1 includes a solid state image sensor 2 having a plurality of pixels arranged in a two-dimensional array on the surface of a semiconductor substrate, and an amplifier 30 formed on the semiconductor substrate and amplifying a signal according to the signal charges stored when the light is sensed by each pixel. The apparatus further includes a ROM which stores the correction data (the amounts of light sensed per unit time Kva0, Kva1) depending on the setting level of the drive voltage (amplifier drive voltage) of the solid state image sensor 2 during photography, and an image signal processing circuit 10 which determines the amount of light sensed by the pixels when light is emitted during operation of the amplifier 30 as a correction amount by using the correction data, and corrects the amount of signals output from the pixels through the amplifier 30 according to the correction amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
