VEHICULAR DRIVING SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular driving support device allowing traveling in a travel pattern with less fuel consumption by use of inter-vehicle communication.

SOLUTION: The vehicular driving support device includes: a location specification means 1 for detecting a travel direction and a travel section in the present traveling; a storage means 5 for storing travel data including the fuel consumption and the travel pattern in every travel direction and travel section; a communication means 2 for transmitting and receiving the travel data added with a vehicle attribute; a data extraction means 3 for extracting the travel data of the vehicle having the same vehicle attribute as one's own vehicle from the received travel data; a data update means 4 for comparing the fuel consumption of the stored travel data with the fuel consumption of the extracted travel data, and storing the travel data having the smaller fuel consumption in the same travel direction and travel section; and a support means 6 for reading the travel pattern of the travel direction and the travel section in the present traveling from the storage means 5 and supporting driving of the own vehicle as a target travel pattern.
