<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To markedly enhance the drug efficacy of a dermatological drug for external use or of an external antibacterial for post-traumatic inflammation by adhering or placing a layer of fine titanium particles to or near the surface of human (animal) skin. <P>SOLUTION: When a layer of fine metallic titanium particles distributed over a definite area is adhered to or placed near the surface of human (or animal) skin, the fine metallic titanium particles produce effects such as promoted metabolism in various surface skin tissues, accelerated blood flow through subcutaneous blood capillaries and the suppressed growth of bacteria with which surface skin tissues are infected. These effects can create an environment unfavorable for the growth and survival of bacteria in the surface skin tissues and the subcutaneous muscle tissues, which results in the marked enhancement of the efficacy of a dermatological drug for external use and an external antibacterial for post-traumatic inflammation and consequently a more speedy cure of pathological conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
