UNIT, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING SPEED RESTRICTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed restriction control unit for deciding an area exit in consideration of occurrence of an error of sensor information. SOLUTION: The speed restriction control unit decides whether or not a vehicle enters an area by use of present position information of the vehicle and entering area range information of held area information, decides whether or not the vehicle exits from the area by use of the present position information after the area entrance and exiting area range information of a range widened to the entering area range information after the vehicle loaded with the speed restriction control unit enters the area, and changes a state of speed control by a state of the entrance/exit of the area. The speed restriction control unit can decide whether or not the vehicle properly exits from the area even if the error occurs in the present position information by a slip or the like of a tire because setting the range information for the area exit to be wider than the range information for the area entrance.
