Disclosed is a prostate cancer progression inhibitor comprising 4-(4-cyano-2-[[2-(4-fluoro-1-naphthyl)propanoyl]amino]- phenyl)butyric acid, a salt or solvate of the compound, or a prodrug of the compound or the salt or solvate. 4-(4-Cyano-2-[[2-(4-fluoro-1-naphthyl) propanoyl]amino]-phenyl)butyric acid has an anti-proliferative activity and an activity to recover hormone responsiveness and the like in prostate cancer that acquires hormone resistance, and is therefore useful as a prostate cancer progression inhibitor.
