<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scavenging processor and a method for scavenging a fuel cell system which can reduce power consumption as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The scavenging processor 40 for a fuel cell system 1 comprises a fuel cell 10, a temperature monitoring section 43, a threshold memory section 44 for memorizing a threshold of peripheral temperature and a threshold of internal temperature of the fuel cell, a scavenging start determination section 45 for determining whether or not scavenging is started by comparing the peripheral temperature and the internal temperature of the fuel cell with the threshold of the peripheral temperature and the threshold of the internal temperature, and a scavenging processing section 46. The threshold memory section memorizes so that the threshold of the peripheral temperature is designated temperature and the threshold of the internal temperature becomes higher as ambient temperature of the fuel cell becomes lower than the designated temperature. The scavenging start determination section determines that scavenging is started when peripheral temperature of the fuel cell becomes the threshold of the peripheral temperature or below and internal temperature of the fuel cell becomes threshold of the internal temperature or below corresponding to the peripheral temperature of the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
