STORAGE DEVICE OF ENGINE START BATTERY AND POWER SOURCE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in an engine start performance caused by a battery temperature change by suppressing a temperature change of an engine start battery through the year.

SOLUTION: In a storage device for storing the engine start battery of a vehicle, a vacuum insulation layer is arranged inside the storage device. The storage device is provided with a space part for a heat medium to pass between a battery and the vacuum insulation layer, and an introduction means for introducing the heat medium such as air from the outside of the storage device to the space part. The storage device is provided with a temperature measuring means for measuring a temperature (T1) near a feed port of the heat medium and a temperature (T2) of the battery. The storage device suppresses deterioration in the engine start performance caused by the battery temperature change because of an air temperature change by determining whether or not the heat medium can be introduced to the space part based on the temperature (T1) and the temperature (T2).
