<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly workability while achieving compactification of the structure of a power supply device in the thickness direction. <P>SOLUTION: A harness winding type power supply device 1 includes: a flat wire harness 5 having an annular rotating body 3 freely rotatably arranged inside the case 2, 6, an external winding part 8 wound around along the outer peripheral face 7a of the rotating body 3 so as to be freely advanceably/retreatably led out from the case, an internal winding part 9 wound in a direction opposite to the external winding part and arranged in an inner space of the rotating body with its center side fixed to the case, and a connecting piece 10 connecting the external winding part and the internal winding part to each other and radially crossing the rotating body; and an elastic member 4 arranged between the rotating body and the internal winding part so as to bias the rotating body in the winding direction of the external winding part. The rotating body 3 includes a radial guide groove 23 on which the connecting piece 10 is placed. The guide groove 23 is formed in a guide wall 24 protruding into the inner space.
