<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispenser for distributing a liquid medium. <P>SOLUTION: The dispenser includes a housing (11), an outlet opening (14) for a medium, a medium storage device (8) for reserving the medium, and a carrier (30) for carrying the medium from the medium storage device (8) to the outlet opening (14). A flow brake (40) is further provided in medium conduits (16 and 18) between the carrier (30) and the outlet opening (14). The flow brake (40) includes a first flow brake element (60), which can be provided on and fixed to the housing (11) or a second flow brake element (50) at some different relative positions during assembly. Further, different flow resistances of the flow brake (40) are attained depending on a selected relative position.
