<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of improving reception characteristics by preventing a BER from being deteriorated due to the fading of a broadcasting radio wave. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver includes a signal amplification part (3) for amplifying a received signal, frequency-converting the amplified signal into a signal of an intermediate frequency and outputting the signal of the intermediate frequency and a demodulation part (4) for converting the received signal of the intermediate frequency into a digital signal and then demodulating the digital signal. The digital broadcast receiver converts time base data obtained after AD conversion into frequency domain data, extracts a pilot signal included in one subcarrier of the received signal based on the converted data, detects frequency variation due to the influence of fading by performing highly accurate FFT processing, and switches a reference voltage of a gain control signal for controlling the gain of the signal amplification part (3) according to the frequency variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
